Ladies and Gentlemen, Let’s meet Beverely Powell. Beverely feels really guilty. Beverely’s son was dating a young woman. After 10 years, the young woman broke off the relationship with her son. Beverly was really upset and said some horrible things. Sadly, the young woman was involved in a fatal mauling by a family dog that had previously attacked another family member.
Beverely is now attempting to secretly pass Breed Specific Legislation in South Carolina, because she feels guilty. To help ease her guilt for her own behavior, she has joined ranks with BSL supporters to attempt to legislate millions of people and dogs who have done absolutely nothing to her.
Pit bull owners must submit to random checks by animal control? Just pit bull owners have to submit to criminal background checks (That really is amusing, since the most popular BSL supporters are convicted felons.)? OH WAIT- not just criminal background check on the owner, but all for every member of the household. 
Oh right… because most of pit bull adopters are a bunch of thugs and criminals. I have a feeling, the politician that Beverley has been attempting to secretly meet at his personal donut shop is aware of the political suicide he would be committing by insulting millions and millions of dog owners by calling the majority of them criminals….
He’s heard what stories? Has he heard from the millions and millions of innocent pit bull owners? Has he talked to actual experts? You know, the people that Daxton’s Friends and Dogsbite.org discredits? I doubt it, but maybe he should. Maybe he should get information from people that actually care about public safety and understand that BSL/Banning does not create a safer community but causes financial burden and discrimination against hard working innocent families.
You are right, millions of people can be loud and obnoxious when you are trying to make millions of innocent people pay for a handful of tragedies. I guess that’s why we are not the silent majority.
P.S.- I know you wanted this to stay super secret, but maybe you should inform your new Admin James Hassinger to stop S.S stuff and sending it in private messages…. eventually the secrets get out.

This is sad. Clearly, this lady is going through some profound guilt about her words/actions to her son’s deceased ex. I would think the healthy response would be never to act out like that toward a loved one again, because you now realise that you never know whether the hateful words you say in anger will be your last interaction with that person. Maybe, she might also take the time to tell the people in her life how much she cares about them NOW, while she has the chance.
What she’s actually doing makes zero sense and won’t heal her regrets.

At some point I’ve GOT to get out there and earn me a felony background somehow. I DID get a no seat belt ticket in 1985 shortly after the law went into affect. That’s a pretty good start. Unfortunately the next 30 years I raised 3 children who are now all married. None of them have criminal backgrounds either. They ALL have dogs though. One has a rottie and a puggle, my groomer daughter has a french bulldog, and my youngest has 2 pugs. I do have my 2 rescue pitbulls. Darn it. I’ve got to get this thug life off the ground soon or my grandchildren will be outcasts among the BSL folks.
